El Paso Border Youth Athletic Association (EPBYAA) is proud to announce our local partnership with Sprouts Farmers Market in the creation of the new and innovative community support effort, Grand Slam Grocery Night. Grand Slam Grocery Night will take place Monday, March 10th & Monday, March 17th, 2014 from 5pm – 8pm each night. Five percent of grocery sales on these nights will be donated to the EPBYAA organization in support of youth programming efforts in the El Paso community.
EPBYAA was founded in 2000 and is dedicated to improving the education, health and wellness of the El Paso area youth through baseball and softball programming. Throughout the years, our programming efforts have helped thousands of El Paso children by bettering their health through play, as well as receiving mentorship, life skills, and character development lessons. By engaging youth in greater physical activity, access to healthier snacks, and nutritional education sessions, EPBYAA has seen factors like childhood obesity and diabetes addressed with positive results.
Sprouts has a long history of supporting causes that share their mission of improving the health for the communities they serve. Recently, Sprouts Farmers Market relocated to Sunland Towne Center, located at I-10 & Sunland Park Drive.
EPBYAA looks forward to broadening our impact on the El Paso youth with the support of local businesses like Sprouts Farmers Market.
